Moreover, these various weapons can inflict different debuffs on enemies, and there are also counter effects between these debuffs. So, we'd better familiarize ourselves with these debuffs and utilize different Debuff DMG Bonus to boost our combat power.

Let's begin with an easily obtainable lineup: Marco, Fio, and Eri!

Remember Eri's skill, S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S Charge? The passive effect of this skill is to boost the team's IGNITE DMG Bonus. So, equip her with the Flame Shot which inflicts IGNITE, and let her be the first! After inflicting IGNITE on enemies, switch to Fio with a Bazooka that inflicts WOUND because her passive skill is to boost the team's WOUND DMG Bonus. More importantly, her rocket shots on IGNITED enemies can trigger additional damage. Lastly, switch to Marco with an HMG that inflicts WEAK. Fire away with a frenzy of rapid bullets and turn the tide in a moment. With the continuous hail of bullets, even a bulky boss would be obliterated in the blink of an eye!

In summary, choose Characters wisely, match them with suitable weapons, switch them promptly to inflict more debuffs on enemies, and you'll see damage numbers flooding the screen. One word to put it: AWESOME!

Just the same for Characters, the easiest way to make weapons better is to upgrade them! Upgrading a Weapon increases its ATK considerably. What? You don't have enough materials for upgrading—the Military Cards? Head over to the Wrecking Yard in Arcade Carnival. A bit of pew-pew-pew, and you'll get tons of Military Cards! Here's a quick reminder: If you're feeling lazy, you can also get Military Cards from the Gameplay Cart and the Club Store. Easy peasy!

Upgrading also activates different specialties of Weapons, making their firepower even stronger! I suggest you head to the Weapon Mod Lab for some target practice! You'll also obtain materials for upgrading and advancing weapons there. Simply enjoyable!

Apart from upgrading Weapons, don't forget to increase their Star Levels! A Weapon's ATK will go up a notch after increasing its star! The process is simple—accumulate Weapon Fragments from Treasure Digs. Once you have enough fragments for a Weapon, you can increase its Star level thru Star Up!

If you want to elevate your shooting experience, equipping Cores to your weapons is also critical.

Cores come with different marks and rarities and offer varying attributes and effects. For instance, for close-ranged Characters, the mighty Cauldron Core boosts their ATK when you're close to enemies. For long-ranged Characters, the Mechanist Core is a must-have and makes you stronger the farther you are from your enemies. And for support Characters, the Steel Worm Destroyer Core is a perfect choice!

So, mix and match your Cores and create your own playstyle!

Now you must be curious about where to get the Cores, right? Ha, I've got just the answer! Completing Joint Operations will earn you various types of Cores. Plus, the Core Collection page is available on the Core screen, displaying all the effects clearly. Go get some now! Meanwhile, from the Core Express in the Arcade Carnival, you can acquire upgrade items to level up Cores and increase your Power.
