In this mode, not only can you obtain Alloy Pickaxes and weapon fragments, but there are also various abilities to choose from, making the playthrough more vibrant. My favorite is the barrage style. After two rounds of enhancement, both the DMG and the number of homing missiles will increase significantly. The Ultra Missiles are an even better treat, dealing super high DMG and instantly overwhelming all enemy units in sight. Pairing it with Lyla or other Characters with sustained damage, the barrage style can even be played at a whole new level.

As a powerful style that has recently been introduced, the Crystal Style will undoubtedly help you pass more stages. The DPS approaches of the Crystal Style mainly include two types: One is the Crystal Missile, which will be launched automatically after you pick up a crystal, similar to those in Abyssal Rift.
The other is the Crystal Formation. Pick up the crystals to trigger a rotating crystal formation around you, dealing DMG instantly to the enemy units it touches. It also enhances your melee abilities. At the same time, there will be more abilities to help you enhance your crystal abilities and summon the crystal formation more frequently. Pairing it with melee burst Characters like Trevor will result in an extremely terrifying DPS.
Crystal Style: Skill Features

This style is very effective against clustered enemies. Since the crystal enhances your melee abilities, and the crystal formation provides protection, we can be extremely formidable with this style. If we upgrade the crystal formation and bring Nadia into the battle, we can wipe out all the enemies in an instant.
The distant enemies wouldn't be a concern. Your Crystal Missiles will take care of them.

The best lineup for the Crystal Style is to have melee Characters like Trevor as the carry, with Haran and Nadia as supports. This way, the carry Character not only can deal higher damage, but also has HP recovery and Slow effects. If you don't have Trevor, try long-range Characters like Lyla or Scarlett, and pair them with Kukik and Nadia; that will also do the trick.

Since your carry Characters are different, we have two sets of alternative lineups here. When your main Character is Lyla, combine her sustained damage and the summoned Elite Puffer with the protection from the crystal formation; that'll make stationary DPS Characters like her more flexible. When reloading, rush up and hit the enemies with the crystal formation! Even Lyla can take them head-on from time to time.
And if you're feeling a bit lazy to do the work, here's the strategy you need. When your carry Character is Scarlett, get her an Eclipse, stay at the corner of the screen, and you can keep firing; that'll be all you need to do. The crystal formation will provide protection, so there's nothing to worry about even if the enemies get close. With this strategy, you can also get yourself a quick clear.
