New Mechanisms
After the update, the brand new Joint Operation: Abyss Mode will be set on a floating island 10,000m high above the ground! The energy shield on the island breaks, leading to frequent extreme weather. Colluded with local forces, the Morden Army uses the weather as a natural barrier to block the path ahead.
Upon entry, there will be Thunder Strikes or Whirlwinds every once in a while. During this period, the sky darkens. The Thunder Strikes or Whirlwinds will inflict damage on both Characters and enemies, briefly stunning the targets. You can use the Atmospherical Barrier skill to ward off the weather. Once succeeded, it can prevent damage and stun effects!
New Abilities
The Atmospherical Barrier can also absorb atmospherical energy. Based on different weathers, the Character will enter the Thunderous or Windriding state, increasing ATS or ATK in a while.After 3-5s, it will also charge the Atmospherical Turret to destroy enemy battleships and fortresses, and help everyone clear stages much faster.
As the Joint Operation: Abyss Mode progresses further, the abilities in the mode will also be gradually strengthened.
By upgrading Empyreal Wings, you can obtain Empyreal Feather, thereby activating the Empyreal Veins to continuously strengthen the Thunderous and Windriding states.
Strategies
To help you get familiar with the new mechanics and clear the stages fast, here I bring you all the strategies for clearing the stages.
In the new Joint Operation: Abyss Mode, if you want to quickly defeat the boss and perfectly clear the stage, you need to defeat all enemy soldiers on board and deplete their Military Force Value to destroy the Thunderous Battleship.
First of all, after the airship departures, everyone will fight on board. The airship's maneuvering area is limited, so be careful not to fall off the edges, which could cause unnecessary injuries. During the battle, Commanders can be locked on by Thunder Strikes at any time. Seize the time to release the Atmospherical Barrier skill.
Here's a tip for everyone: Kill elite enemy soldiers first if you want to quickly deplete the Military Force Value, and this will help you enter Boss Stage faster.
At the Boss Stage, Commanders need to skillfully avoid attacks and seize thetime to release the Atmospherical Barrier, avoiding being knocked out too many times and losing the chance for a perfect clearance.
Challenge Rewards
Of course, there are proper rewards after you clear the stages!
The new S3 Rare VI Core (obtainable after stage 4-1) helps you develop strength and enhance abilities in the Joint Operation: Abyss Mode and Abyssal Rift when equipped. The Atmospheric Control affix carried by the Core enhances everyone's ability to face extreme weather. Additionally, the more Cores equipped, the stronger the Atmospheric Control becomes!
You can also clear the stages daily to get Empyreal Essence, which can be used to increase your Abyss Score, and unlock subsequent stages.
This season's daily reward adds a Reclaim Function. If today's challenge record is refreshed after receiving the initial rewards, you can claim an additional reward based on the difference!
As the season progresses further, you will gradually unlock more stages with mysterious new enemies waiting for your challenge! The number of General Core Parts dropped will also increase with your stage progress!
